park

its
name
from
a
30
foot
long
water
slide
worn
in
the
rocks
of
the
creekbed.

hiking,
picnicking,

nature-watching
take
on
new
dimensions
among
the
canyon's
red
rock
walls
and
pine
forests.
A
thriving
apple
orchard
is
a
unique
attraction.
The
state
has
expanded
parking
and
other
facilities
used
by
the
waves
of
visitors
who
refresh
themselves
at
Slide
Rock
during
summer
months.

Forest
Service
campgrounds
are
nearby.
